Andrew Wheeler, Managing Director, Chicago

Andrew Wheeler is Managing Director for iProspect’s Chicago office, responsible for overseeing all activities for the mid-west. These activities include developing and deploying exceptional strategies, training client services teams, and delivering superior results for clients in the region, including Alcon Laboratories, DeVry University, and Irwin Union Bank. Additionally, Wheeler ensures client teams are strategically driven, accounts are proactively managed, and that search campaigns are successfully integrated with clients’ other marketing initiatives.

Since joining iProspect in 2003, Andrew Wheeler has worked on both the Organic and Paid Client Services teams, first as an Algorithmic Search Analyst, making recommendations for client’s websites, later as a Search Marketing Specialist, managing various natural search campaigns, followed by his role as a Paid Search Manager, managing multiple paid search campaigns. Most recently as Client Services Director, he led the integration of paid and organic search initiatives, allowing iProspect to better service clients’ overall search strategies. In all roles, he has worked closely with high-profile clientele including those in the travel, insurance, education and franchise industries.

Wheeler is Google AdWords certified, having successfully completed Google’s advertising professionals program, and a Yahoo! Ambassador, having received sponsored search training and professional recognition from Yahoo! Search Marketing. He is also accredited as an official Microsoft adExcellence Member. A Microsoft adExcellence Member has completed comprehensive online training on managing Microsoft AdCenter search engine marketing campaigns and has demonstrated expert knowledge by passing the Microsoft adExcellence accreditation exam.

Wheeler is a regular columnist for Search Engine Land and also contributes to iProspect's monthly newsletter, the Search Marketing Advisor™.

Prior to joining iProspect in 2003, Wheeler served as Marketing Communications Specialist for Teradyne Inc., Connection Systems Division, leader in high performance connection systems, designing and manufacturing backplane systems, printed circuit boards and the industry's leading high-speed, high-density connectors. While at Teradyne, he developed a divisional database marketing strategy, coordinated worldwide media relations and championed a team in the development and launch of the company’s first Internet Portal.

Andrew Wheeler earned his Bachelors Degree in Business: Marketing from the University of New Hampshire.
